About Susan

Susan Bradford was the lead investigative journalist on the Abramoff investigation, having acquired the exclusive with Republican superlobbyist Jack Abramoff to write a book about the scandal surrounding his lobbying. As part of her research, she interviewed hundreds of sources and exhumed thousands of documents, enabling her to uncovered substantial prosecutorial misconduct, international money laundering networks, and an international crime syndicate linking the casinos, federally recognized Indian tribes, energy companies, the churches, pharmaceutical companies, tech companies, international banks, among other interests aligned with the City of London, leading her to write a series of books on her discoveries along with a fascinating exploration of the Royal bloodlines, Rothschilds, and the rise and fall of civilizations.

Bradford began her career in California where she interned at CBS-TV in Los Angeles as an undergraduate at UC Irvine where she earned a BA in English as an Honors Humanities student. During her matriculation, she edited the college newspaper and both hosted and executive produced an interview show with the Orange County World Affairs Council and Office of Protocol, which placed third in the California's Press Women's state-wide communications contest.

After graduation, Bradford wrote news copy for KNX (CBS) news radio, reported on local politics and Hollywood for City News Service, and worked as a video producer on the PBS Red Car Film Project which explored the federal government's anti-trust case against Standard  Oil et al for conspiring to derail the Red Car rail system. As part of her effort, Bradford interviewed the leading federal prosecutor and researched at the film library.  As first student member of the Hollywood Women's Press Club, Bradford served on the HWPC Board of Directors, Scholarship Foundation, and Golden Apple Awards Committee.

With a view to covering foreign affairs and exploring a career in international public diplomacy,  Bradford earned an  MA in International Relations from the University of Essex, where she founded and edited the European Review, the departmental publication for the Center for European Studies. As Editor, Bradford solicited and edited submissions from leading heads of state and academics on evolving European integration and covered such events as the Council of Europe Summit in Madrid, which launched the euro; an anti-NATO debate in the Russian state Duma; and the Britain in the World conference in London.  She also secured an exclusive interview with Baron Robert Rothschild and copy edited Prof. Emil Kirchner's Recasting the European Order.

Bradford joined the Atlantic Council of the UK where she worked with the Director as Senior Research Fellow, writing foreign policy publications for NATO while representing  Essex University on the NATO Universities Advisory Committee.

She was subsequently appointed Acting Editor of the New Atlantic Initiatives, an eponymous newsletter based upon the NAI established by the Prague Declaration which documented the creation of a prospective TAFTA or TransAtlantic Free Trade Area, linking the European Union and NAFTA.

After graduation, Bradford took the foreign service exam. Despite performing in the top one percent, she was awarded a failing score. As a member of the Palmer class action, she discovered that the U.S. State Department was actively discriminating against candidates and rigging civil service exams.  She also received an offer to join CBS-TV News in London only to have the State Department neglect to process, or repeatedly "lose,"  her visa application during the Clinton Administration's visa diplomacy which was blocking journalism visas for Americans working overseas. Meanwhile,Bradford wrote foreign policy speeches for UK Shadow Foreign Secretary Michael Howard.

Bradford then returned to the United States where she joined Fox News Channel as a producer and then advanced to work for the Voice of America as Assignments Editor. At the height of the North Korean conflict, Bradford was appointed speech writer to Korean Ambassador Sung Chul Yang to write speeches promoting the Sunshine Policy, that of dialog and diplomatic engagement over military strikes, in response to North Korea's provocations.

During the War on Terrorism, Bradford partnered with Senior CBS Foreign Correspondent Tom Fenton to write a book exploring the tactics and strategies employed by the Bush Administration to advance its foreign policy objectives through the media. She then approached Abramoff to write a book about his prosecution.

While working with Abramoff, Bradford uncovered how special interests had driven partisan prosecutions to eliminate competition, shore up markets, establish monopolies, scapegoat targets, and redirect the public's wealth to themselves. Jack Abramoff and his counsel, Abbe Lowell, used Bradford's work as leverage to secure favorable treatment for the superlobbyist during his sentencing hearing. Congressman Tom DeLay, Abramoff's chief legislative ally, forwarded Bradford's work to counsel during negotiations with federal prosecutors, leading the Department of Justice to drop federal charges against DeLay. As a result of the mishandling of the Abramoff scandal, corruption spread throughout the federal government, ultimately finding its fullest expression under President Donald J. Trump.

She also earned a postgraduate certificate in public international law from the University of Helsinki and studied abroad at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

Bradford is a public speaker, author, and journalist who has appeared on TV and radio shows, podcasts, and elsewhere. Her professional biography is included in Marquis' Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who Among American Women. She has also been awarded Marquis' Who's Who Lifetime Achievement Award.  Bradford has written and ghost written many books, with a view to empowering and educating readers on how the world (and government) really works -- and restoring the American Republic to one envisioned by the Founders, within constitutionally prescribed limits and Judaeo-Christian values.
